I bought 6 of these headlamps, 5 for prizes and one for me. Only one economical AA battery so it is using a boost circuit rather than a cheep resistor dropper. Current draw is medium: 240mA, high: 850mA, side LEDs: 420mA. Unfortunately it doesn't have a low setting like my old SUNREE which was very dim but only 35mA. It also doesn't have the silly flashing setting which always annoyed me. It should go for 6 hours on medium using an Energizer Industrial Alkaline battery but probably only an hour or so on high. Even high isn't really bright but I'd rather have a lightweight headlamp than a heavy spotlight. Like my old one I will use it for hiking and camping. Including a battery it only weighs 70g. I generally used my old one on low which was enough light for most things. It still works and I'm keeping it as a spare.
