Swimming is the self-propulsion of a person through water, or a liquid substance, usually for recreation, sport, exercise, or survival. Humans can hold their breath underwater and consistently among the top public recreational activities. Swimming is an activity that burns lots of calories, is easy on the joints, supports your weight, builds muscular strength and endurance. Swimmers use all kinds of swimming tools for their pool training sessions including snorkels, pull buoys, rubber bands, hand paddles, kickboards, and fins.
